Hidden Treasure!

Going through the sale bins at the fabric store I found this kind of weird looking koala fabric.

The poor thing was probably sitting there since the Sydney Olympics, right next to ridiculous fabric with pictures of the Sydney Harbour bridge.

It looked so sad and neglected, so I took a couple of metres home to give it a try.

And look - it actually make a very cute little hoodie.

Just got back from KIDS IN STYLE trade fair at Carlton Gardens

...and I must say....

I'm a bit disappointed with what was on display in kids clothing.

Lots and lots of commercial stalls and really only 3 great stalls, which were sticking out miles away.

Hooray for MONSTAR, MAIIKE AND OLIVE'S FRIEND POP for doing a great job in their new ranges.

Compliments to the homeware section! Lots of lovely stufff!

Not to forget the TELEGRAM paper goods! YES guys....you nailed it!

I really should be sewing like a mad women at the moment, but instead I've decided to head out of town once again to a place called Dunolly. I spent the weekend with my dear friends drinking wine in front of the wood oven, buying treasures at the local market and enjoying that crisp country air. Oh how good life can be.

So this week I really have to get serious !

I've got all these new ideas for hoodies and pants....and if I wait much longer - my head will explode.
